Necesito dibujar #mujeres que se parecen a mí pero no soy yo. Poder encontrarme en ellas, en su color de piel, sus ojos indios, bocas pretas, nariz ancha y el pelo que solo sabe ser rebeldía.
Lo necesito porque, además de todas las #violencias que nos atraviesan cuerpo y alma, las #MujeresNegras crecemos sin encontrarnos, sin vernos en ninguna parte. No me vi en las jugueterías, no me encontré en las novelas. No podía usar el lápiz “color piel” para pintarme.

Me gradué como licenciada en Comunicación de la UBA sin haber tenido una sola materia que incluya en su bibliografía autoras negras. Leer mujeres negras no es parte del programa. En los libros de historia, no estamos. No me encontré tampoco en el #feminismo blanco de muchas que no pueden (¿quieren?) ver sus privilegios sobre nosotras. No me pude ver en las revistas ni en los cuentos. Hasta el día de hoy, no me encuentro en ninguna de las mujeres de los noticieros que veo. ¿Acaso no existimos?
